Creating an intuitive digital experience that connects your organization and constituents has never been more important. There is more competition for donors than ever before, and nonprofits are turning to solutions that put their donors at the center of everything they do in this virtual world. With a limited ability to engage donors in person, nonprofits must create donor-centric experiences with relationship-based, digital-first fundraising.
During this session, we will learn from Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis leaders how becoming donor-centric transformed their ability to accelerate the fundraising needed to further their mission. We will share firsthand how Redpath’s partnership allowed them to create a 360˚ view of their donors using Salesforce, a connected CRM. Co-presenter, Hayley Mueller, from Catholic Charities, will describe how they deployed a comprehensive technology solution that improved the donor experience and streamlined their data entry process.
Hayley Mueller has worked in Development for over 10 years from a phonathon caller in college to her current role as Vice President at Catholic Charities. Her work experience includes fundraising roles at Cretin-Derham Hall, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School and Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis where she developed extensive experience in annual giving, major and principal gifts, planned giving, donor cultivation and stewardship, and capital and endowment campaigns. Hayley is a St. Paul native and has a bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Benedict and a master’s degree from Hamline University. Hayley resides in Eagan with her husband, Kyle and two children, Jack and Lucy.
Sarah Harrison has worked in development database work for over 5 years – starting at Planned Parenthood South Atlantic to her current role as Database Manager at Catholic Charities. She has worn many hats in the database world, from the gift entry staff, acknowledgment letter creator, and sustainer program cultivation, to pulling detailed financial reports and building processes for forecasting our budgeted contributions. She also led the recent database conversion project of 300K records from Raiser's Edge to Salesforce. Sarah was born and raised in New Jersey but is happy to call Minneapolis home. She has her bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College and spends her non-nerdy database time with her husband Caleb and their two children, Myles (3) and Eliza (3 months).

For 150 years, Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis have served the poorest and most vulnerable members of our community. They continue to adapt and respond to the needs of the community and focus their attention where it is most needed. With the support of our donors, advocates and volunteers, they seek to prevent poverty before it takes hold, meet basic needs in times of crisis, and create pathways out of poverty. Today, Catholic Charities is the largest comprehensive social service nonprofit in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul region, serving thousands of people through 29 different programs at over 18 locations.
